The short answer
The 3.6 Views Vloggers Mount is a pocket-sized magnetic phone mount. You stick a metal disc to your phone or case, snap the mount onto any magnetic metal surface and swivel it to film hands-free on your back camera. It costs €35,95, ships in 7 to 9 business days to the US, Canada and Europe, and comes with 30-day returns.
What does it stick to?
Any magnetic metal surface: gym equipment, fridges, range hoods, metal shelving, lockers and metal doors. It does not stick to wood, glass or plastic.
Will it hold my phone?
Yes. It holds a single phone, including in a case, on any magnetic surface. If your case is thick, stick the disc on the outside of the case for the strongest hold.
Does it work with every phone?
Yes. Any phone works once the metal disc is on the back or inside the case. Two discs come in the box, so you can set up a second phone.
Does it work with a phone case?
Yes. With a thin case the disc can go on the phone under the case or on the back of the case. With a thick case, put it on the outside. More in mounts and phone cases.
Will the magnets damage my phone?
Both magnets are covered in soft rubber, so they won't scratch your phone. The mount holds onto the thin metal disc you stick on the back of your phone or inside its case.
How does the 360° rotation work?
There are two ball joints, one under the head and one on the base, and both rotate. Set the rough direction with the base, then fine-tune with the head.
Can I film on the back camera?
Yes. That is the point of it: the phone faces out from the mount, so you record on the back camera, not the selfie one.
Does it stick to glass, tiles or mirrors?
No, it needs magnetic metal. For smooth surfaces like glass, tiles and mirrors, the Smart Vacuum Mount is the one to use. See magnetic vs vacuum.
What's in the box?
The mount and two metal adhesive discs.
How big is it, and which colours are there?
3.8cm tall, 3.4cm wide and 55g, with a full metal build. It comes in Black, Red, Gold and Silver.
How long does shipping take?
7 to 9 business days to the US, Canada and Europe, 12 to 14 to Australia and New Zealand, and 8 to 12 to Asia. Shipping is free on orders over $40. We ship from warehouses in Europe and the USA.
What if it's not for me?
You have 30 days. Send it back unused in its original packaging and we'll refund you within 14 days of receiving it. Return postage is paid by the customer. Email info@threesixviews.com to start a return.
